Go on walks with Owen, play tennis, or just talk!

Guess.

His devotion to first, the Lord and second, his family.

He always says his favorite color is the color of my eyes... such a romantic.

Hallelujah

That's right, today Norah decided she was ready to LOVE the binkie. Hallelujah!

Wednesday

I'm Still Alive!

No pictures on this one but I just wanted to post a quick update for those of you wondering if I was still breathing. This week has been a crazy one. Joe has been in Utah for a week so I'm left doing the single mom thing. Holy cow!! I don't know how women do it. Between Owen whining to go poo at 6 am and Norah spitting up all over me at 2:30 am, I am SO ready to have my husband back. Man, that little girl is lucky she is so cute! Norah is getting so cute and fun (I think I say that every week) but really, she is. She is so giggly and smiley all the time and I love playing with her. The sleep thing is improving now that we have started her on solids. The routine for the past few days has been dinner at 5:30, bath, nurse, then bed. She has been sleeping pretty well until 6:30am which I can handle. I consider it a good night when I can't remember what happened but somehow she ends up next to me in the morning.

The Past Few Weeks: Edited

Sometimes I get on here and want to blog about something really cool and fun and new and exciting and then it turns out to be totally lame because I can't think of anything to write in the five minutes I have when I don't have other motherly duties to fulfill. Holy cow I understand that was a huge run-on sentence!! So, It was really fun to have my sister Morgan and her family, Will and Tatum, here for Christmas. We miss them already and hope we get to see their new baby girl before she gets too big! Our holiday was full of things like NYC, a play, family dinners, and a lot of Guitar Hero World Tour.

Norah is growing like a weed. She's a fourteen pounder! When I told the doctor that Norah has been having a really hard time sleeping for the past week or two she told me that she thinks she might be hungry and suggested starting her on solids. After all, her growth curve isn't really a curve at all, more like a straight line up! We think she is starting to sprout some teeth already because this girl ALWAYS has a hand or two in her mouth and somehow ends up soaked in drool within two hours of me dressing her. Here she is watching tv on great-grandma's bed:
