An update at 16 weeks

It's been a while since we've written. Here is a picture of my gut. It's been fun to watch it grow. I spent last week in Oregon visiting Morgan, Will, and Tatum! It was a surprise visit (thanks, Chris) and it was a lot of fun as well as a much needed break from Rexburg. We did lots of fun stuff like play with sidewalk chalk, ate at an antique store, visited the science center, read lots of books, watched about six episodes of Law and Order, about ten home decorating shows, fifteen of the same episode of Sesame street, went to the the Saturday market and a "Death Cab for Cutie" concert (my first concert). I have to say, I wasn't too fond of the smells I smelled in that city but it's probably because my olfactory nerves are in full force at this point.

Summer semester started on Monday. I was only planning on taking a class or two but decided to take 14 credits (6 classes) to keep my scholarship. I'm taking a few fun classes though; sewing, fashion design, and a gerontology class (yes, I think gerontology is fun).

The pregnancy is truckin along. I still have nausea in the morning, but haven't been puking nearly as much. Today I had my third doctor's appointment and I swear they took a gallon of blood but Joe said it wasn't that much. It had to be a pint though. I can feel the baby move every once in a while. It really freaked me out at first for some reason! Our ultrasound to find out what we have in there is set for May 28th. Can't wait!!

Joe is working hard and studying for the series 7 he'll be taking in June. He wants to run the Dam Marathon (half) in June but he better get his butt movin because it's coming up quick. So, I'm going to start training him soon, I have Sports Conditioning class and we're required to train someone.

Hope you're all doing well and keep us updated!
